Kristin Milley is an architectural and historic preservation professional with more than 30 years of experience in design, preservation, and construction-related fields. A graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Design and Environmental Analysis, Kristin began her career as a commercial interior designer working on projects for hospitals, banks, the United States Golf Association, and Fortune 500 companies.

After earning a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from University of Pennsylvania, she worked in Washington, D.C. on the preservation and restoration of a full city block of historic storefronts, including the design of new architectural elements intended to return the buildings to a more historically appropriate appearance.

Returning to Philadelphia, Kristin became the first hire at S. Harris & Company, where she worked on significant preservation projects throughout Philadelphia, the Mid- Atlantic region, and South Carolina. Since 2013, she has worked with J&M Preservation Studio, providing architectural support and historic preservation expertise. Kristin has also prepared grant applications for nonprofit organizations and historic tax credit applications for properties throughout Philadelphia.
