Jessica Senker has concentrated both academically and professionally on architectural conservation and historic preservation. She is a licensed Architect and also has a Master of Science degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Philadelphia’s University of the Arts.
As the former Vice-President of S. Harris Ltd. and now a founding principal of the successor firm J&M Preservation Studio, Jessica has managed restoration projects from the project planning phase through the design and construction administration for numerous National Historic Landmark sites. In over the last ten years, she has conducted multiple conditions assessments on aging buildings and is a certified Conservation Assessment Program (CAP) Assessor.
Recently, Jessica was elected Secretary to The Woodlands, Board of Directors and also serves on their “Building and Monuments Committee” which is charged with planning and reviewing work for this Philadelphia National Historic Landmark site. Her background also includes management work for the Public Art Office of Philadelphia’s Office of Arts and Culture, and consultation to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Jessica is currently the Project Manager for the Eastern State Penitentiary Roof Campaign and lead consultant for all other construction related activities at the site.
